Set of Sixteen Space Shuttle Challenger (STS-51-L) Covers, Including Individual Signed Covers for Each Crew-Member. An intriguing set of sixteen philatelic covers, all addressed to Dr. Max Kronstein. Included are unsigned covers from each astronaut's Johnson Space Center desk: El Onizuka, S. Christa McAuliffe, Greg Jarvis, Judy Resnik, Mike Smith, Dick Scobee, and Ron McNair. Includes two covers from Captain Scobee. Also included are philatelic covers addressed to Dr. Kronstein that have been individually signed in various inks by each crew member. Each cover bears the stamp: "Shuttle 'Challenger"/ (Mission 51-L)/ Exploded on Take-Off/ Jan. 24, 1986". A Unique collection of material from the tragic launch.
