Description
Apollo 9 Limited Edition, #3/50, Launch Cover Bearing a LM-Flown Segment of Kapton Foil, with Heritage Provenance and a Letter of Authenticity from Apollospace. A philatelic launch day cover with an Orbit Covers cachet, a 6¢ Flag stamp affixed, cancelled at Cape Canaveral on March 3, 1969. On the front is a small segment of golden foil labeled as "Apollo 9 LM Spider Flown Kapton." The back is a stamp, filled in by hand: "No. 3 of 50 / Series A-r2 Apollospace, LLC. Included with the lot is a signed, detailed, illustrated LOA from Apollospace. Excellent.Auction Info
