Description

Space Shuttle: NASA Spacesuit Thermal Micrometeoroid Garment Glove Assembly, Left Hand, with ILC Tag. A 16" x 9" glove of a type used by astronauts performing EVAs from the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. As part of the TMG garment, this provides protections from micrometeoroids and wide heat variations while working in open space. Flight status unknown though the glove has quite a bit of soiling and some wear/cracking to the rubber fingertips. ILC tag inside gives serial number of "151" and is marked through in red ink. A label on the plastic bag states "4000 Series." Certainly not common. Set on a stand (not included) this would make a very striking display. Included with this lot is a NASA/ ILC document picturing and describing the 4000 series glove. Good.
