Cosmonaut Valery Bykovsky, the Fifth Cosmonaut in Space, Signed Photo Bearing a Soviet "Soyuz 22" Stamp, with Certificate of Authenticity from Novaspace. A 3.75" x 5.625" signed B&W photo with the caption on verso (translated from Russian): "Pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR, Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel, Candidate of Technical Sciences Valery Fedorovich Bykovsky (Vostok-5, 1963)." The photo has a canceled stamp applied at bottom corner. Illustrated Novaspace COA included. Fine.

Valery Bykovsky was a Soviet cosmonaut who flew three space missions. He set a record for the longest solo spaceflight when he spent nearly 5 days in orbit aboard the Vostok 5 spacecraft in 1963, orbiting the Earth 81 times. Bykovsky later commanded the Soyuz 22 mission in 1976, which conducted Earth observation and photography experiments, and the Soyuz 31 mission in 1978 that docked with the Salyut 6 space station.
