Apollo 14 Flown Texas Flag Originally from the Collection of
Lunar Module Pilot Edgar Mitchell, Signed and Certified with Letter
of Authentication, in Framed Display with Embroidered Mission
Insignia Patch. A 5.75" x 4.25" Texas flag that flew to the
moon during the nine day Apollo 14 mission. It has been signed in
the top white portion in black ink: "Flown to the Moon/ aboard
Kitty hawk on/ Apollo 14/ Edgar Mitchell/ Apollo 14 LMP". It
has been beautifully matted and framed with a 4.5" x 4" embroidered
mission insignia patch to an overall size of 12.5" x 17". Included
with the lot is a signed LOA on Mitchell's letterhead attesting the
flag was carried in his PPK during the mission. Attractive display
piece, ready to hang. Excellent.
