Description
Ron Lewis Signed Limited Edition, #923/1000, "Moonwalkers" Color Print Signed by Eleven Moonwalkers, with Nate Sanders Certificate of Authenticity. A 31" x 25" print on heavyweight acid-free stock, numbered and signed by the artist at lower right. Lewis's artwork is derived from each astronaut's white space suit NASA portrait and includes a small vignette of the astronaut performing a task on the moon, all against a lunar surface background. The signatures are all bold and large in blue felt-tip, as follows: "Buzz Aldrin", "Alan Bean", "Charles Conrad Jr", "Alan Shepard", "Edgar Mitchell", "Jim Irwin", "Dave Scott", "Charlie Duke", "John Young", "Gene Cernan" and "Jack Schmitt". All signatures were obtained in person between 1986 and 2005. Stored rolled. Minor corner bumps, very fine.Auction Info
