Led Zeppelin II: Cover Subject Frank Borman and Cover Artist David Juniper Signed Copy of the Remastered 2014 Deluxe Two-LP Version of This Landmark Album, with Certificate of Authenticity from Novaspace (Borman). Signed on the front cover in black felt tip: "The music of Led Zeppelin I had blown me away and so on spec, I mocked up a fold-out design for the second album and took it to Led Zeppelin's manager. / David Juniper, designer of the cover art for Led Zeppelin II." Also signed in black felt tip: "Not Neil Armstrong!/ Frank Borman/ Apollo 8 CDR". This desirable reissue, with bonus tracks, is in essentially new condition.There is obviously a story behind Borman's added comment. Juniper, in designing this cover, started with a photo of the legendary Jagdstaffel 11 squadron (modern reprint included), a World War I German Air Force group led by Captain Manfred von Richthofen (the Red Baron). He replaced all the faces, first with the band members (right standing and three seated). Then, since this was just after the Apollo 11 mission, he used the face of who he thought was Neil Armstrong. The trouble was that, it was actually Frank Borman's face he used. Thus the "Not Neil Armstrong" comment.
