Description

Apollo 11 Crew-Signed "First Man On The Moon" Stamp First Day Cover Addressed to the National Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian. A #7 philatelic cover with a beautiful cachet by Goodwill Ambassador which reproduces the "We Came In Peace" plaque left on the moon by Apollo 11. A single 10¢ stamp is affixed which bears the dual Washington/ Moon Landing cancelation from September 9, 1969. The crewmembers have all signed near their facsimile signatures in various inks: "Neil Armstrong", "M Collins', "Buzz Aldrin". A neatly typed address to John Whitelaw at the Smithsonian. Unique in our experience. Excellent.
