Description
German V-2 Rocket Test Report, June 1944. An intriguing three page report on two 8.25" x 11.75" two-holed punched pages. Dated June 24, 1944 with "Geheime Kommandosache" stamped across top which translates to "Secret Command". The report was issued at Heimat Artillerie Park 11 and is titled "Main Report 105". Within the three pages of text is an array of technical information including: "Experimental Procedure: Preliminary check of the device. Secure test report HAP 11 via the W device. Launch Preparations: The preparations for the scheduled launch on 17.6.44 at 11:00 am went according to plan. The shooting took place at the appointed time. Summary: The beacon worked well. The deviation of 1.10 km to the right is within 50% side spread". One note is that there is a small handwritten note at the top right of first page that appears very similar to the von Braun signature in adjacent lot, however not confirmed that it belongs to him.
