Description
Michael Collins Signed Apollo 11 Embroidered "Bio-Garment" Mission Insignia Crew Patch Directly from his Personal Collection, CAG Certified. A beautiful 4" diameter patch made by Texas Art Embroidery as worn by the crew on their Biological Isolation Garments. The familiar design, originally by Collins (and modified by NASA), depicts an eagle carrying an olive branch in his claws about to land on the moon. It is boldly signed on the verso in block letters: "Michael Collins". Sealed in a numbered archival holder, CAG 3000008-009. Excellent.Auction Info
