Preserved by the first man to step on the moon
Apollo 11 Flown American Flag Directly from The Armstrong Family
Collection™, CAG Certified. A 6" x 4" silk flag with red cotton
border stitching that was carried to the moon and back aboard the
Apollo Command Module Columbia, July 16-24, 1969.
Mission-flown U.S. flags are always in demand by Space collectors
but this one is a significant relic of an historic event that a
collector of any specialty would treasure. One storage fold at
upper right, otherwise excellent. Sealed in a numbered archival
holder, CAG 1001407-005. This lot will include a Statement of
Provenance from Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
