Description
Skylab 1 (SL-2), Skylab 2 (SL-3), and Skylab 3 (SL-4) Flown American Flag on Crews-Signed Presentation Certificate, Directly from the Estate of NASA Legend Chris Kraft, with Certificate of Authenticity. A 5.5" x 3.75" silk U.S. flag mounted to an illustrated 14" x 11" certificate with the text: "Carried Aboard The Skylab Space Station/ 1973-1974/ Presented to/ Dr. C. C. Kraft/ For your 'extra effort'/ in making the /Skylab missions/ successful..." It has been signed at lower left by all nine Skylab astronauts (which includes two moonwalkers): "Charles Conrad Jr", "Joe Kerwin", "Paul Weitz", "Alan L Bean", "Owen Garriott", "Jack Lousma", "Jerry Carr", "Ed Gibson", and "Bill Pogue". This is truly an all encompassing Skylab item. Presenting an opportunity to obtain a Kraft owned relic from the first U.S. orbital space station. Interestingly, we have previously offered similar certificates that were signed solely by Kraft, who was Director of Johnson Space Center at the time. Framed to an overall 15"x 12.5".
