Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Flown American Flag on Crew-Signed Certificate Directly from the Estate of NASA Legend Chris Kraft, in Framed Display, with Certificate of Authenticity. A 6" x 4" U.S. flag mounted to a 13.5" x 10.5" (sight size) presentation certificate with a background image of the Robert McCall rendition of the docked spacecraft. It reads: "This Flag Was flown On The First International Space Mission Apollo/Soyuz, July 15-24, 1975" and "Presented To Christopher C. Kraft, Jr. With Appreciation For Your Effort In Support Of The Apollo/Soyuz Test Project" It is signed at lower right: "Tom Stafford", "Vance Brand", and "D K Slayton". Mounted to the left of the signatures is a 3.5" diameter Beta cloth mission insignia. Matted and framed to an overall 22.5" x 18.5". This international flight signaled the end of the U.S. - U.S.S.R. space race. Near excellent. This framed presentation was placed in the Kraft household on the east wall of the upstairs den.
