THE ALAN BEAN COLLECTION

Apollo 12 Lunar Module Flown Largest Size Texas Flag, Signed and Certified by Alan Bean, from His Family Collection, with Certificate of Authenticity, in Framed Display. This largest size flown Lone Star flag, 18" x 12" in size, flew to the moon in the command module Yankee Clipper and then to the lunar surface in the Lunar Module Intrepid, during the Apollo 12 mission. The mat is signed in black felt tips: "Charles Conrad", "Dick Gordon", and "Alan L Bean". The silk flag has been signed by Bean in the lower right hand corner, "Flown to the Moon/ Apollo XII Nov. 1969/ Alan L Bean". It is archivally framed to an overall 24" x 19.5" with an engraved plate. A gorgeous display piece ready for the wall of some lucky Texan (or Texan wannabe). Excellent. From the estate of Moonwalker and Artist Alan Bean.
