Incredible Display

Wright Brothers: Large Presentation Featuring CAG Certified Segment of Wright Flyer Wing Fabric, and Individual PSA/DNA Certified Handwritten Checks by Both Wilbur and Orville. An absolutely outstanding display piece featuring three incredibly desirable artifacts from the duo responsible for the first successful powered aircraft. Includes an approximately 1" x .5" segment of muslin cloth removed from the legendary plane that has been CAG certified as "Ex. Otto Kallir Collection". To the left of the fabric is an 8.25" x 3" check written in the hand of Wilbur Wright, dated January 3, 1905, and signed: "Wright Cycle" (the name of the brothers' bicycle business founded in Dayton, Ohio in 1892); as well as a 7.75" x 3" handwritten check, dated April 24, 1923, signed at close: "Orville Wright".

All three artifacts have been beautifully matted with an exceptional 19.5" x 15.5" (sight size) B&W glossy finish photo of the Wright Flyer during its' initial flight with Orville piloting and Wilbur running alongside. This is one of the finest displays containing valuable historic artifacts that we have been able to offer. Handwritten documents by Wilbur Wright are incredibly rare due to his death at a young age. Worthy of the finest collections, either private or institutional. Overall presentation size 25.5" x 36". Excellent.
