Battle of Antietam: Unique Civil War Souvenir, the First Example We've Seen. A red 1 1/4" X 2 3/4" 'brick', two sides of which are covered with a paper label which reads as follows, "Bricks / Made of clay, taken from / Bloody Lane / Antietam Battle Field / Sept. 17, 1862 / Manufactured By / J. E. Moudy / Hagerstown, Md. / May 29, 1897". Perfect condition with the label just showing its age.
