Description
French Pattern 1816 Light Cavalry Carbine Percussion Conversion 19 1/2" .70 caliber smoothbore barrel with French proofs at the breech and dated 1822 on the tang. Lock marked "Maubeuge" , strong action. Barrel is smooth and gray with areas of pitting at the nipple, dark lock, brass furniture is very good.
