Description

William McKinley and William Jennings Bryan: Rare Two-Handled Mug, 5" high. The mug shows the portraits of the two opposing candidates in the 1896 election. Seldom are opposing candidates pictured together in this way. The bottom of the mug sports the advertising for Schlitz Milwaukee Cream Beer and Tioga Rye Whiskey. Embellished lightly with gold leaf around the base and on the handles, this piece makes an excellent presentation. General glaze crazing and surface wear, else fine.
