Description
Civil War Era Leather Saddlebags. Brown leather, each bag measuring approximately 18" x 14". Simple tooled border on the outside flap of each bag with decorative stitching on the edges and bottoms of the bags. Unique "Y" closure straps complete with buckles. Leather carrying straps at the top to facilitate use as a valise. No visible markings. The bags show use but no abuse, the leather is still supple and they are generally in very good condition.Auction Info
