Fantastic Folk Art Battle of Vicksburg Painted Drum Head. After a lithograph published by Kurz and Allison. A 23.5" vellum drum head, hand-painted in oil and depicting Union soldiers in the trenches during the siege of Vicksburg. Captioned by hand at the bottom of the scene "Battle of Vicksburg". Framed and matted under glass to an overall size of 36" x 36". A striking piece which would be the centerpiece of the collection room, office, or library.
