Description
Samuel F. B. Morse Autograph Letter Signed, "Saml. F. B. Morse." Two pages (of a bifolium), 5.25" x 8", Florence Villa, Shanklin, Isle of Wight; September 6, 1867. Letter from Morse to his fellow artist George Harvey, in which he writes, in part:"I have no objection to your proposed invitation to see... 'Sun light; the 'Home of Coleridge,' when you have finished it, if you think it will be of service to you. As to the frame, I am not fastidious.... We are preparing to leave early next week for London, where we shall remain a few days, and will of course see you."
Condition: Letter has the usual folds, with weakening at the ends of the folds and at the crease; paper is thin with some wrinkling. Overall good.
