Description

Johannes Brahms Signed Receipt for Music Royalties. Partially printed document, 7 x 5 ¼ inches; Vienna, December 4, [1893]. A receipt originally issued in Cologne on November 7, 1893, for thirty marks for payment from the Concert Company of Cologne of an "honorarium for Royalties from the 2nd concert..." Signed, "J Brahms." Matted and framed with a portrait reproduction of the composer to the overall size of 18 ¼ x 12 inches.

Condition: Flattened folds, with toning.
