Ephraim Gilman. [Territories of the United States]. Philadelphia: P. S. Duval's Steam Lith Press, [1848]. 34 x 14 1/2 inches (sight), matted and framed to an overall size of 42 x 22 1/2 inches. Hand-colored. An interesting map of the United States issued in the immediate aftermath of the Mexican-American War, showing the territories of the United States including those accessioned by the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. Tables at the left and right list the area of each territory.Condition: Not examined out of frame. Somewhat toned with a few very light stains.
