Description
Armed Riverboat Gamblers Daguerreotype. Ninth-plate daguerreotype depicting two well-dressed, seated men in top hats, each prominently displaying a revolver. It is housed within an unusual metal case with red, gold-stamped leather coverings. There are some scratches on the image which mostly affect the man on the left. Still a fun image likely dating from the early 1850s.Auction Info
