Description
John F. Kennedy: A Rare Pair of 14 Karat Gold Presentation Cufflinks. Each bearing a very fine, deep relief image of the presidential seal. During his presidency, Kennedy liked to use these cufflinks as special gifts for friends. They came in four versions, 10 karat and 14 karat, with and without engraved facsimile signatures of JFK on the underside. This mint condition pair is of the most desirable form, being 14 karat and bearing Kennedy's signatures. The fabled Guernsey's JFK auctions of March and May 1998, featured only two pair lacking signatures, one 10K and one 14K, which nonetheless hammered for $7,500 and $10,000 respectively.
