FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING. JULIAN HUXLEY COPY, SIGNED BY HIM, on the front free end paper, with marginal pencil lines, possibly in his hand. The brother of Aldous Huxley, Julian was an evolutionary biologist who collaborated with Wells on The Science of Life. (1930)

Condition: Wear to cloth concentrated at the edges and corners; intermittent foxing.
