Erskine Caldwell. Tobacco Road. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1936.8vo. Publisher's brick-red cloth, spine stamped in gilt, front board stamped in gilt and blind; original illustrated dust jacket.
FIRST EDITION.
Condition: Cloth spine lightly sunned; a few spots and a few light stains and a few dark stains; light edgewear. Dust jacket unclipped (priced "$2,50"); spine with very pale sunning; "S" in "Scribners" on spine a bit smudged; light edgewear; bookseller's ticket to rear pastedown.
