Original full morocco (Vol. I: tan, Vol. II: brown), top edges gilt; each housed in publisher's blindstamped linen slipcase, morocco-edged at top and bottom on open side, with ribbon pulls.
DELUXE LIMITED EDITION, each volume number 188 of 300 specially bound copies, SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on bound-in limitation sheet, and with each volume containing a laid in original lithograph by the artist, signed and numbered (188/300), as issued. With a Foreword in the first volume by S. Dillon Ripley, and by H.R.H. The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in the second.
Condition: Gilt lettering slightly dulled on Vol. I, otherwise fine.
