Hulbert Burroughs / 7th aat [?]. / With awe and respect / Assimilated Capt / Edgar Rice Burroughs / U.P. / An Island in the Central / Pacific / June 4 1944." Octavo. 319, [1, blank] pages. Publisher's blue cloth, front board and spine lettered in red, dust jacket. Jacket spine slightly sunned, some minor rubbing to jacket, two tape repairs to jacket verso, very minor rubbing to binding. A bright, fine copy with an incredible association. Hulbert Burroughs had enlisted in the Army Air Corps as a photographer in the early days of the Second World War. Zeuschner 240.
