Frontispiece and three additional plates by J. Allen St. John (note: lacking one plate, according to Zeuschner); in-text map by Burroughs. Publisher's green cloth, spine and front stamped in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends crimped, worn, and discolored; further, minor discoloration and wear along joints and board edges; corners tapped. Endpapers and text block dulled; front hinge starting to crack, rear hinge repaired; occasional mild, marginal soiling and evidence of dog-earing scattered throughout interior.
