Frances Cornford. Poems. Hampstead: The Priory Press, [1910]. 8vo, original cloth-backed boards, upper cover and spine lettered in dark green, uncut. FIRST EDITION of the author's first book, PRENTATION COPY. INSCRIBED on the front flyleaf: "To H. E. L. / from / F. C. C. / March 1910." Possibly inscribed to Henry Elford Luxmoore, of Eton. Spine darkened, corners bumped and worn; some toning and soiling to covers. From the John Hayward collection (sold, Sotheby's,12 July 1966, lot 36). - Cornford. Travelling Home and other poems. London: The Cresset Press, [1948]. 8vo, original red cloth, gilt-lettered on upper cover and spine; dust jacket (unclipped). FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY. INSCRIBED on the front free endpaper verso: "For Blanche / With love for Christmas and for all the year / love / Frances / 1948." Touch of fading to cloth extremities; dust jacket with slight toning, spine panel a little rubbed with a little wear at ends, upper flap corners a little worn, small stain on rear panel. - Cornford. Collected Poems. London: The Cresset Press, 1954. 8vo, original beige cloth, spine gilt-lettered; dust jacket (unclipped). FIRST EDITION. Spine panel slightly toned with some minor wear and tiny chips at ends, else fine.
