Presentation copy inscribed and signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt to his friend, Toi Bachelder, who served as the President's primary secretary from 1933-1945: "To Toinette Marya Bachelder, with a Merry Christmas from Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1933." Light blue cloth with spine and front board stamped in gilt.Condition: Ex-library book with usual markings. Spine faded, with moderate spotting. Binding slightly cocked. Good.
