Description
Civil War: Thirty-Six Different Cartes de Visites [CDV's] Plus Bonus. A collection of thirty-six [36] CDV's in a varied mix of engravings and albumen images of political personalities from the civil war era. Several are identified by name below their portraits and many with back marks. A bonus albumen featuring five unidentified gentlemen is mounted on 6.5" x 5.25" card with two 3-cent canceled stamps on verso. An extensive grouping of historical political images!Condition: Five have clipped corners, two of them excessively so. A handful of others are slightly, albeit neatly, trimmed at margins. The balance are in very nice condition overall, exhibiting only minor wear from handling.
