George Washington: Three Centennial Portrait Textiles. Three items in this lot include: (1) A patriotic centennial banner, featured in Threads as item #376, 17" x 25" cotton banner printed in red, blue, and brown. (2) A colorful Washington-Harrison 1889 centennial fabric. A very crisp and clean 22" x 24" brown and white fabric with flags in each corner in national colors, and eagle on a full color U.S. shield at the top, bold portraits of George Washington and Benjamin Harrison in the center. Issued in connection with the 1889 New York celebration of the centennial of the first inauguration of George Washington. (3) A 4" x 5" scrap of yard goods showing Washington, Scales of Justice and Peace 1776 issued for the Centennial.

Condition: (1) Light fading but no tears or stains. (2) Fabric is cut in a stylized presentation, otherwise excellent. (3) Discoloration at top and bottom.
