Description
William A. Stone et al: 1898 Pennsylvania Lithographed Tin Campaign Sign. 19.25" x 27.75" tin sign titled "The Republican Party and Union Forever". It features portraits of seven candidates for statewide office, many of them Civil War Union veterans, superimposed on a keystone. Captioned "Patriotism Protection and Prosperity". Possibly manufactured by Shonk.Condition: Rippling, nail holes around perimeter, light rust and oxidation. Numerous pings from being used for BB gun target practice. Quite graphic, displaying a great deal of character. Ideal for display in a "man cave".
