blue on white, 1861 Charleston SC Postmaster Provisional; two
covers; 1) single large margins except into at top with a portion
of the top frame line drawn in with ball point pen ink, tied by
Charleston SC Oct 4 1861 town marking on cover addressed to Flat
Rock, No. Ca., cover missing portion of backflap and with small
edge faults; 2) single with margins clear to into at left, small
corner crease and pre-usage vertical tear or crease, tied by double
circle Charleston SC town marking on cover addressed to Sumter
S.C., cover with small edge faults and minor tape stains; Scott
