Pennsylvania Chronicle and Universal Advertiser (Philadelphia, PA) April 20, 1767: British Sending Troops. Colonial American newspaper contains long inside page news reports of the British sending troops to the British North American Colonies in order to put down demonstrations and control resistance to British taxes, an event that would lead to the Boston Massacre in 1770 and later to the American Revolutionary War.Condition: Fine.
