It features Franklin Pierce on horseback approaching the White House, Fillmore lamenting the fact that his government benefits are running out, Greeley complaining about supporting Scott, Winfield Scott promising a slaveholder to support the Fugitive Slave Bill, a slaveholder threatening to withhold his support without a commitment from Scott and Webster consoling Fillmore and recommending some New England clam chowder.

Condition: Remnants of mounting hinges on verso; otherwise, excellent.
