Grover Cleveland et al: Group of Seven Assorted Silk Ribbons. An eclectic group of seven silk ribbons from 1884 to 1904. Featured are the following: A 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" Cleveland-Hendricks jugate ribbon, with matching Blaine-Logan from 1884. A brownish toned Welcome to New York City for James Blaine measures 3" x 8" and is dated August,1888. Two varieties of similar colorful 2 3/4" x 5" Benjamin Harrison portrait woven silks, accompany a single portrait Theodore Roosevelt of roughly the same size. Each of these three with facsimile signatures. Finally, a large 5" x 7 1/2" woven silk ribbon for T.R. marked "B.A.S.W.C. 1904." rounds out the selection.

Condition: The matched pair of Cleveland and Blaine 1884 jugates are excellent. The Benjamin Harrison woven silk with Inauguration date at top exhibits some light age, other is excellent. The smaller of the two Roosevelts has a couple of pinholes at the top and a few pinpricks of very light spotting in the field, the larger TR ribbon is excellent. The Blaine Welcome ribbon has a few scattered light creases.
