Theodore Roosevelt: Signed Military Appointment. One printed vellum page, 15 1/4" x 19" [sight], Washington; July 2, 1902. President Roosevelt appoints John F. Stretch a Colonel in the infantry of the United States Army. President Roosevelt and Secretary of War Elihu Root have boldly signed. Paper seal affixed at the lower left. James Spence LOA.Condition: Minor skipping in the signature ink, light folds, overall fine.
