Description
Ulysses S. Grant: Signature. Grant's signature reads, "U.S. Grant/ Lt. Gen," and has a sight size measuring 4.25" x 1.5". It is matted with an oval, engraved portrait of Grant (sight size of 3.375" x 5.5") to an overall size of 8.25" x 12.5".Condition: The slip bearing the signature is toned in uniform block, with minor foxing. The engraving appears to have been trimmed, affecting copyright information. Both the image and the signature are held to the mat with archival tape.
