Ulysses S. Grant: Five Grant Medals Plus Bonus. A quality grouping of Grant medals, three of which are slabbed and graded by NGC, plus a bonus Horace Greeley medal also slabbed/graded by NGC. The Grant items include: (1) USG-1868-14, 31mm, graded MS 64, AR (Silver). (2) USG-1864-1, 31mm, brass, graded MS 63. (3) USG-1872-11, 25mm, white metal, MS 65. (4) USG-1868-3, 50mm, white metal. Excellent condition with lustrous surfaces. (5) A merchants token in a Tan hard rubber. Obverse has a portrait of Ulysses S. Grant with his name below and ALAROMA and BUNOLA, The reverse features a stylized monogram of UCCo with THE UNION COFFEE CO. LIMITED/NEW YORK around perimeter edge. 40mm with a few small chips to outer rim, overall very good. (6) Bonus Item, Horace Greeley HG-1872-1, 31mm, copper, graded UNC DETAILS, "Improperly Cleaned" by NGC.Auction Info
