Description
Ulysses S. Grant: Collection of Ten Various Grant Pieces. A great collection of assorted medals and a large medallion for Ulysses S. Grant: The largest is a high relief brass shell medallion, 80 mm (3 1/8") with ultra high relief portrait of "Grant" encircled by stars with an eagle & shield at the top. It may have been used in conjunction with a sash and probably dates 1868-1876. Also included is a copy of USG-1868-4, 50mm, in white metal, a large memorial medal, 63mm, in white metal, and several smaller campaign tokens.Condition: All range in condition from very good to excellent.
