Ulysses S. Grant: Silver Tomb Dedication Medal by Tiffany. 63 mm silver medal issued for the April 27, 1897 dedication of Grant's Tomb at Riverside Park, New York City. Issued by the American Numismatic and Archaeological Society, made by Tiffany & Company. The rim is stamped "Patent Applied For" and "37". There were only 81 examples struck. This comes in two versions. This, we believe, is version #1, the one least-often seen. Uncirculated condition, nicely toned.Auction Info
