Zachary Taylor: Oil on Wood Panel Portrait. 27 1/2" x 21 1/4" (sight) oil on wood panel painting of Zachary Taylor, seems to be unsigned. Taylor is portrayed in civilian clothing rather than the military uniform in which he is more commonly depicted, also appearing rather stern in this well executed study.Condition: The painting itself is beautifully colored, and is in very good condition. Housed in a wood frame to an overall 29 1/2" x 35", the frame has several small nicks and paint loss throughout. Property from the Cary M. Maguire Estate, Dallas, Texas.
