Description

Benjamin Franklin: Circa 1795 Standing Figurine. 13.25" tall soft paste standing figurine depicting "Dr. Franklin" wearing a long cape, looking heavenward and holding a book. An identification label in the interior of the base indicates it is the work of Ralph Wood, Jr., circa 1795. The letter "B" inscribed in the same location may stand for Burslem. The pastel colors are most unusual and attractive. Excellent condition. We have not seen any other examples.
