Annie Oakley: A Wonderful Signed Personal Check Made Out to Her Famous Husband, Frank Butler. Oakley and Butler were paired for life from their earliest days performing with Buffalo Bill's Wild West. It is said that when Butler died, just weeks after Annie, it was of a broken heart. How poignant to have both of their signatures paired on the same item. Annie's signature is bold and clear, and unaffected by cancellation. Frank has endorsed it on verso, with additional notations in his hand.Auction Info
