WWII Japanese Internment Poster: "Instructions to all Persons of Japanese Ancestry", May 5, 1942. 14" x 22" dated May 5, 1942 and headlined: "...INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL PERSONS OF JAPANESE ANCESTRY...Living in San Francisco, State of California..." This original poster is signed in type by J. L. DeWITT, Lieutenant General, U S Army" and informs Japanese citizens as well as Japanese-Americans of the US Government instructions for their internment during WW II in the aftermath of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Hawaii. A rare poster from a controversial moment in our country's history.Condition: Excellent.
