Louisiana Purchase: Lewis and Clark "Voyage of Discovery" Expedition Map. 27" x 21.25" [sight] engraved map, matted and framed to an overall size of 34.5" x 19.75", titled "A Map of Lewis and Clark's Track Across the Western Portion of North America, from the Mississippi to the Pacific Ocean, By Order of the Executive of the United States in 1804, 5 & 6. Copied by Samuel Lewis from the Original Drawing of Wm. Clark." Published in London on April 23rd 1814 by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Brown. Not examined out of frame.Condition: Normal folds. A very clean example with some light, minor wear at the folds, of little consequence.
