Description
Assortment of Air Force One China and Glassware. Among the twelve pieces are three scalloped 7.625" x 5.5" dishes with dramatic graphics and an Air Force One seal. The bottoms have the Pickard mark with additional printed text reading, "Original Art/ By/ Lt. Col. Jeffrey P. Krausert/ Retired Air Force One Pilot."In addition to these are three 4.875" saucers with gilt "Air Force One" text in the border and a star motif, accompanied by a 4.5" (3.5" diameter) x 2.375" teacup and 4.625" diameter bowl with "Air Force One" decorating the edges of both pieces at the rim. The bottoms all have the Pickard mark.
One Millennium bowl, part of the Clinton White House service for the year 2000, has a diameter of 8.25" and is multicolored in red, white, blue, and green with gilt accents. The bottom has a "Lenox Millennium Collection" mark, and text identifies it as a Limited Edition piece.
The second bowl is a cream color with gilt accents from borders to depictions of the White House, and was a gift to Arthur Burns, Chairman of the Federal Reserve. It has a diameter of 8". The bottom has the printed facsimile message and signature, "With best wishes/ Nancy Reagan."
Two pieces of glassware complement the china, including a 2.875" x 7.25" stemmed glass with the presidential seal and a sturdy 3.25" x 4" glass, also bearing the presidential seal.
Condition: One of the saucers has a tiny chip at ten o'clock along the gilt edge, and one of the scalloped dishes has some minor darkening in the gilt along the rim. The limited edition bowl has an identifier written in marker on the bottom, not affecting the text or maker mark. Very minor yellowing on the interior of the Nancy Reagan bowl and a very small accretion on the side of the glass to the left of the seal. In overall fine condition.
